IOAD Memorial & Color for a Cause Run, Walk, Roll for Recovery
This family friendly event offers an opportunity to build protective factors and have important conversations. It includes a memorial event for those who died by overdose, followed by a color run/walk/roll for recovery, dozens of Resource Fair prevention, treatment and recovery supports providers and organizations; free tours of the MCPD Community Opioid Prevention Education (COPE) trailer (a hidden in plain sight mock teen bedroom experience); Montgomery County Mobile Health Clinic; brunch available at The Crepe Shoppe. Students can earn service learning (SSL) hours. The Memorial Photo display remains throughout September.
