Break the Stigma: Recovery is Cool Festival

Carroll County Health Department and our Bureau of Prevention, Wellness, and Recovery will be partnering with a local Non-Profit and our Wellness and Recovery Center on Carroll’s “Break the Stigma: Recovery is Cool! Festival” to celebrate September’s National Recovery Month!

This year’s theme… Fun in Recovery! Fun for all ages! Music, food, speakers, games, Peer Support & so much more!

We will also be doing a medication take back at the event!

Last year, this team also worked on “Going Purple” and asked businesses to host purple lights for Recovery. This included the County Office building. We are hopeful this will continue this year as well.
