Calvert County Medication Take Back Day

CAASA will sponsor the drug take back event on Saturday, October 24th from 10 am to 2 pm at two locations, Southern Community Center, Lusby and Northeast Community Center, Chesapeake Beach, to allow residents to dispose of unused and expired medications. Local law enforcement will be on hand to collect medications and volunteers and staff from the Calvert Alliance Against Substance Abuse, Inc. (CAASA) and the Calvert County Health Department will be on site to share resource information, Deterra pouches, and offer Narcan training, should trainers be available.
